8月17日,广西壮族自治区测绘局与区防汛抗旱指挥部办公室在南宁举行地理信息数据资源共享与合作协议签订仪式，双方就促进基础地理信息数据在防汛抗旱领域的应用以及利用防汛抗旱专题信息加快数字广西地理空间基础框架建设等有关问题达成合作协议。

　　根据协议, 广西测绘局与区防汛抗旱指挥部办公室建立长期稳定的数据交换和更新机制。广西测绘局向区防汛抗旱指挥部办公室无偿提供广西境内1：5万数字高程模型、数字正射影像图、数字线划图、地名等基础地理信息数据及相应元数据，用于自治区防汛抗旱业务地理信息系统建设，以及自治区防汛抗旱指挥部统一组织开展的市、县防汛抗旱专题业务系统建设。区防汛抗旱指挥部办公室向广西测绘局无偿提供广西境内防汛抗旱数字专题图等数据，包括河流、水库、水文站、堤防、水闸、蓄滞洪区等设施专题信息，用于基础地理信息数据库的更新。双方共同开展对地理信息数据的更新维护，建立互动更新机制，并于每年10月底前，按照基础测绘成果提供规定双方交换已有最新成果。

　　广西测绘局表示，将充分发挥测绘工作的基础保障作用和测绘技术优势，为广西防汛抗旱工作提供现势强的、实时更新的地理信息服务。
