近日，由河北省基础地理信息中心承建的《唐山市基础地理信息数据库系统》通过了由唐山市国土资源局组织的专家委员会的验收。该系统是利用国际上先进的数据库技术、地理信息系统技术、计算机技术和网络技术开发而成的信息管理系统。它将该市1:500地理信息数据（包括了基础地理信息数据、地名数据和控制网数据）按照面向对象的原则存储在Oracle数据库中进行统一管理。系统具有对数据进行输入、查询、统计、分析、更新、输出以及系统管理等功能。系统不仅界面友好、功能齐全、操作简单、安全性高，同时具有良好的数据接口。该系统在数据库中只存储对象数据，利用客户端程序来实现地图的符号化，减少了数据库的冗余，保证了数据的一致性，提高了数据维护和更新的效率。实现了数据库的异构访问，不仅ArcGIS环境平台可以直接访问数据库，而且MapInfo、 AutoDesk Map环境平台也可以直接访问数据库，为实现数据共享、提供基础地理信息数据服务和为“数字唐山”地理空间框架建设打下基础。

　　该系统的建成应用有利于提高政府行政管理的水平和效率，促进基础地理信息的广泛应用和发展，为唐山市又好又快发展提供了基础测绘保障。

The realization of the heterogeneous database access, ArcGIS environment not only can directly access the database platform, and MapInfo, AutoDesk Map platform environment can also directly access the database, in order to achieve data sharing, provide the basis of GIS data services and for the "digital Tangshan" geo-spatial lay the foundation for building the framework.

Completion of the application of the system will help improve the level of government administration and efficiency, and promote a wide range of geographic information based on the use and development of fast and good for the Tangshan City to provide a foundation for the development of surveying and mapping support.
