　　广东省信息产业厅厅长温国辉对广东省卫星导航产业示范基地正式挂牌表示衷心祝贺！温厅长指出全球卫星定位系统技术提供的时间、空间信息作为现实世界的基本信息，能够满足人们对位置信息服务的需求，以全天候、高精度、自动化、高效益等显著特点被广泛应用于航天、航空、航海、测量、勘探等诸多领域，其作用的重大及应用领域的广阔是前所未有的，可以毫不夸张地说其应用前景是无限的。

　　广东省卫星导航产业示范基地坐落在有“欧洲之城”美称，代表广州未来的广州科学城，是由广州北斗大三通导航科技有限公司发起，经广东省信息产业厅批准成立的国家唯一省级卫星导航产业示范基地。基地由广州开发区信息化办公室授予广东伽利略卫星导航股份有限公司作为管理建设单位。2007年7月，广东省卫星导航产业示范基地经广东省、广州市、广州开发区管委会领导批示开始组建，2007年11月成立广东伽利略卫星导航股份有限公司作为申报单位，2008年6月建立示范基地筹建办进驻广州科学城创意大厦办公，2009年7月18日正式挂牌运作。基地管理委员会作为管理机构，下设产业发展中心、工程技术研究开发中心、卫星应用数据信息中心、卫星导航培训中心、卫星导航产品检测中心和专家顾问委员会。基地聘请邀请广东省政协副主席王珣章先生担任专家顾问委员会主任和首席顾问，聘请华南理工大学工商管理学院副院长沙振权先生、广东省广泓资产管理公司副总经理孙雄先生等担任高级顾问。在3到5年内，广东省卫星导航产业示范基地将构建达到国内外先进水平的卫星定位导航技术共享平台与支撑体系，为卫星导航产业提供研发项目、人才交流、教育培训、标准制定、评测认证、产品检验、信息管理、研发测试、战略研讨等诸方面的服务和引导。开展关键技术与基础产品的研发，研究新的应用领域和运营模式以及盈利模式，积极参与制定国家卫星导航技术标准、“北斗二号”技术体系。建成广东省卫星导航专业企业孵化器，引导基地内的企业开展科研开发和综合技术服务，积极发展国内外相关机构的关系与合作，带动整个产业链的发展。产业基地的长远规划是经济规模实现全国第一，占全国卫星导航行业份额超过50%。
