2月5至6日，河北省测绘局召开局系统2009年工作总结汇报会。会议传达学习了全国测绘局长会议精神，深入贯彻学习了李克强副总理对加强测绘工作的重要批示和国家测绘局局长徐德明在会议上的工作报告。

　　会议指出，2009年，全局干部职工深入学习实践科学发展观，全面落实省政府关于加强测绘工作的实施意见，紧密围绕“保增长、保民生、保稳定”大局，积极主动服务大局、服务社会、服务民生，充分发挥测绘的基础先行、服务保障作用，为河北省经济社会发展提供了可靠、适用、及时的测绘保障服务。基础测绘稳步推进，为保增长、保民生、保稳定做出了积极贡献；组织实施了“省国土资源变化遥感动态监测”、“省卫星定位综合服务系统”、“藁城市新农村建设测绘保障试点”等重大项目，积极推进“数字石家庄”建设；加强人才培养，推动科技创新，“国土环境与灾害监测国家测绘局重点实验室”揭牌运行，成功承办首届全国测绘行业工程测量职业技能竞赛；认真开展整顿和规范地理信息市场秩序工作，加强涉密测绘成果管理，维护了测绘市场的健康发展；加强测绘宣传和测绘文化建设，大力弘扬测绘精神，干部队伍建设得到加强，职工队伍凝聚力进一步增强。

　　2010年,河北省测绘局总体工作要求是：进一步加强测绘工作，继续开展地理信息市场专项整治，建立健全长效机制；完成“十一五”省级基础测绘规划，实现1：1万基本地形图全省覆盖；抓好“国土环境与灾害监测国家测绘局重点实验室”的建设与发展，推进测绘科技进步；加大“河北省卫星定位综合服务系统”的推广应用；编制好各级“十二五”基础测绘规划，着力推进“数字河北”、“数字城市”地理空间框架建设，抓好石家庄“全国数字城市建设试点”的示范工程建设，提高测绘公共服务水平，为经济发展提供及时有效的测绘保障。
