2009年，山西省测绘局测绘产值和服务值达到1.27亿元，各项工作取得重要进展， 测绘事业迈上一个新的台阶。

　　过去一年，山西局完成千万元以上项目6个，百万元以上的项目22个，50万元以上的项目12个，测绘产值和服务值达到1.27亿元，超过计划23%，同比增长60%。数字太原地理空间框架建设项目通过验收，晋城、晋中两市列入国家测绘局数字城市建设示范城市。完成896千米明长城的长度测量和省汾河流域生态环境治理修复与保护信息系统、省重要地理信息统计分析系统建设。建成山西省连续运行基准网及综合服务系统、省以工代赈管理信息系统。完成全省116个县的1：1万坡度数据制作，建成测绘成果高清立体演示系统，省地质博物馆测绘厅内容设计方案通过专家评审。省国土资源生态环境地质灾害卫星遥感动态监测系统、矿产资源执法监察遥感监测系统、汾河主河道流域生态地理环境影像信息系统、高精度数字高程模型、三维激光测量技术应用系统建设等项目正在实施。

　　基础测绘取得新进展。完成1000余幅1：1万基础地理信息数据采集，开展了1：5万数据库的更新。完成全省GPS D级网建设，形成统一的地籍测量控制起算基准。太原市投入600万元，吕梁市投入300万元，阳泉市投入400万元，用于市级基础测绘。长治市投入450万元用于基础测绘更新。临汾市完成城区150平方千米基础地理信息更新和95平方千米1：1000、1：1万数据库建设。晋城市4县（市）360平方千米1：2000基础测绘项目通过验收，晋中市1：500地形图测绘项目稳步推进。

　　服务保障再出新成效。为社会提供各种比例尺地形图7714幅，提供成果数据8068幅、控制点8222个、航片2216片。向国土资源部门提供数字高程模型和2600余幅1：1万正射影像图，编制了新版《省领导工作用图》《领导工作用图》。为省交通战备、煤炭运销等部门制作20多种专题地图共计4900余幅。多次为中央领导、国家部委领导来山西视察提供工作用图，主动为抢险救灾和应对突发性事件服务。完成的太原市数字航摄土地测绘项目获中国测绘学会优秀测绘工程银奖，省高精度三维大地基准的建立及似大地水准面的确定、ADS40数字航空摄影测量生产体系研究两个项目分别获省科学技术奖二等奖、三等奖，省国防动员综合应用系统获军队科技进步二等奖。

Basic Surveying and Mapping made new progress. Of 1:1 million, the completion of more than 1,000 pieces of basic geographic information data collection, launched a 1:5 million database updates.
