　　自治区测绘局局长李全战总结回顾了12年新疆组织实施1∶1万基础测绘的成绩和不足。1998年-2009年，国家、新疆和各地州累计投入1∶1万基础测绘资金1.8亿元，完成1∶1万地形图成图覆盖面积约29万平方公里，为新疆优势资源转换战略、新型工业化战略、稳疆兴疆等做出了积极贡献。但也存在1∶1万地形图覆盖率仅占全区面积的17.5%，地州、县市一级基础测绘尚未形成投入机制，1∶1万及更大比例尺地图十分缺乏等突出问题。

　　自治区测绘局党组书记刘戈青通报了国家测绘局局长徐德明到新疆走访慰问各族职工，赴各单位和地州调研的有关情况。他说，紧紧围绕自治区重大战略部署和新疆开发建设的主战场，12年来测绘工作发挥了经济建设先行兵和维稳处突工作坚强助手的作用。希望各地继续进一步重视基础测绘工作，为土地、矿产资源管理提供基础图件，通过加快测绘工作，为新疆大开发大发展奠定坚实基础。

　　各地州市国土资源局领导逐一在会上汇报了历年1∶1万基础测绘成果应用于当地经济建设的实例以及2010年1∶1万基础测绘需求情况。

　　会议还安排了2010年财政部、国家测绘局边远地区少数民族地区基础测绘专项补助项目的申报工作；根据需求的迫切程度，与各地对接了自治区1∶1万基础测绘项目计划安排的区域；通报了各地州历年落实自治区1∶1万基础测绘项目配套资金情况；部署了全区基础测绘“十一五”规划执行情况评估工作。
