湖北省第一测绘院受荆门市测绘管理局委托具体实施“数字荆门”项目。

　　该院在荆门市相关部门的大力支持与密切配合下，精心组织，科学实施，目前进展顺利。截止到2009年12月31日，“数字荆门”项目已经完成536平方公里基础控制测量、536平方公里数字正射影像图（DOM）制作、1：2000彩色正射影像制作、影像挂图制作、491平方公里航测外业像控点测量、491平方公里航测内业空三加密、75平方公里1：1000地形图测量等任务。

　　“数字荆门”项目采用真彩色航空数字摄影测量方法获取规划区约500平方公里大比例尺地形数据，将逐步建立基础地理信息平台，实现荆门市基础地理信息资源共享。该项目的建立，将为荆门市规划、设计、国土和交通等各部门提供准确、详实的基础地理信息数据，为推动荆门市的经济和社会发展提供有力支持。

"Digital Jingmen" project uses True Color Aerial digital photogrammetric method to get a planning area of approximately 500 square kilometers large-scale terrain data, we will gradually establish a foundation of geographic information platform, Jingmen fundamental geographic information resources sharing. The establishment of the project will Jingmen city planning, design, land and transport departments to provide accurate, detailed basic geographic information and data, in order to promote the Jingmen city's economic and social development, strong support.
