16日8时许，在顺利完成第25次中国南极科考任务后，黑龙江测绘局的刘文成乘火车返回哈市。而这名从200余名精英中筛选出来的南极科考队员，在圆满完成了为期一年的长城站管道护理及维修工作后，已被人们亲切地称为“黑龙江最牛水暖工”。

　　200多人角逐“南极水暖工”

　　长城站所在的乔治王岛，全岛85%的面积被冰雪覆盖，绝对最低气温达到-28.5℃，天气变化剧烈。虽然气候环境恶劣，但这里却成了黑龙江测绘局每一个人都想去的地方。

　　刘文成说，当初选拔第25次赴南极科考队员时，他所在的黑龙江测绘局后勤管理中心，有200多人报名角逐长城站的管道护理及维修工作，经过层层考核，刘文成脱颖而出，于2008年11月23日从哈市出发，前往长城站执行为期一年的越冬后勤保障工作。刘文成因此成为黑龙江测绘局参加南极科考的首位“水暖工”。

　　“重要工作”　还有捡垃圾

　　冬天的南极有50多天是极夜，刘文成所在的长城站有12名科考队员留守。那段时间南极几乎每天都刮8级至10级的大风，其中有一天达到近14级。他不但要进行暖气的维护工作，还身兼数职，承担起长城站机械车辆管理、维修、保养等工作。

　　“有一天，我们吃过晚饭正准备休息，却发现发电泵房回水没有了，当即意识到可能是管线漏了。”除了一名发电值班员外，其他11名队员迅速投入到了管道抢修中。队员们耗时5个小时，挖雪4米深，终于发现了漏水点。”刘文成回忆说。

　　除了抢修管道，刘文成还有一项重要工作——捡垃圾。刘文成说，按照联合国的有关规定，南极科考产生的大量生活垃圾必须全部运回国内。他每天将科考站遗留在室外的人造垃圾收集起来，今年我国“雪龙号”科考船到达南极时，他已清理出3吨垃圾，并全部打包完毕，装了满满13个集装箱，他驾驶铲车将它们运上了“雪龙号”科考船。这些垃圾将于明年随船被带回国内。

　　非得累倒　才能睡着

　　吃喝拉撒睡这些再平常不过的事，在南极却变得异常困难。“吃的只有冻肉和脱水蔬菜，长期吃这些食物会营养失衡，有时在工作中会突然觉得头昏眼花。”刘文成说。这些都不算什么，对他来说，最大的挑战是睡眠。

　　极地特有的极昼极夜现象成了他睡眠的“克星”。“刚到南极，正赶上极昼，天总是亮着的，刺眼的光线让我难以入睡。”刘文成告诉记者，因为高负荷的工作，加之不能正常睡眠，刚到长城站时，他瘦了5公斤。为了帮助自己入睡，他在跑步机上狂跑，只有把自己累倒了才能入睡。

　　到家才知　父亲去世

　　刘文成说：“在南极，我最怕的就是寂寞。一有时间，我就给单位领导、妻子和亲戚朋友打电话。”然而，远在南极的他却不知道，他的父亲因肺癌已于今年4月去世。为了不影响他的工作，妻子陈春没有将这个噩耗告诉他。

　　今日，刘文成刚回到家中，就急切地要去见父母。此时，站在一旁的妻子再也无法隐瞒。得知噩耗，这位39岁的汉子当场瘫倒。但是，刘文成没有埋怨妻子，因为他知道，自己肩负的责任不容许有任何闪失。

Home found out his father's death

Wen-Cheng Liu said: "In the Antarctic, I fear most is the loneliness. A time, I give unit leaders, wives and relatives and friends to call."
