9月19日，湖北省测绘局召开局直属机关党委会议，传达学习党的十七届四中全会公报精神，并就学习传达会议精神和加强改进局党的建设等内容提出要求。

　　会议强调，要把学习贯彻党的十七届四中全会精神作为当前一项重大的政治任务来抓，紧密联系湖北测绘工作实际，切实抓好贯彻落实，进一步推动湖北经济社会又好又快发展。局党组一班人要带头学习，做到先学、先知、先掌握。要扎实抓好全局的学习活动，认真制定计划、妥善安排时间，通过多种形式，迅速掀起学习宣传的热潮。各级领导干部特别是局属各单位的主要领导要带头深入学习，切实担负起领导责任。

　　会议指出，党的十七届四中全会提出了一系列新思想、新观点、新要求。要结合测绘工作的实际，认真抓好全会精神的贯彻落实，切实做到武装头脑、指导实践、推动工作。要深入分析面临的新形势，全面准确地把握经济社会发展变化给党建工作带来的新课题、新考验，研究制定局贯彻落实的具体意见。要以贯彻落实十七届四中全会精神为动力，认真做好当前工作，集中精力抓好第四季度的工作，确保全面完成今年各项目标任务。
