一日，专心致志地编辑单位的一份内部刊物，连续几个小时下来感到头昏脑涨，于是打开存储在电脑里的MP3，顿时轻柔的音乐声水银泄地般在房间里弥漫开来，让人的精神渐渐愉悦起来。蓦地，“测绘与音乐”这个题目一下子跳进脑海，再也挥之不去，让人不由得花费些心思来琢磨这两者的关系，有关测绘与音乐的往事一桩桩浮上心头。
    1996年我参加工作时刚过20岁生日，所在中队清一色都是小伙子，平均年龄在25岁左右，大都走出校门不久。虽然赶上了单位发展困顿期，经济效益很差，但大家的工作热情很高，处处彰显着年轻人的蓬勃朝气，迎着朝阳出工，踏着月光收测，在欢声笑语中释放着青春和活力。那时作业车辆都是北京2020吉普，还只能播放磁带。测量队的车辆长年累月经受各种复杂路况的考验，比起一般的商务用车的损耗不知要厉害多少，很多磁带播放器都有故障，经常听着听着就卡壳了，吱吱呀呀地变成噪音摧残耳膜，正应了《琵琶行》里面的一句诗“呕哑嘲哳难为听”。这时，司机师傅就会在播放器上砸一拳，或重重地拍一下，或者干脆将磁带退出来拍打拍打，再重新插进去，一般情况下音乐声就会再次响起。可好景不长再次卡壳，司机师傅就又如法炮制一番，边操作边笑着说：“真是欠收拾！”。很多时候，坐在后排的人干脆手里握着一根长木棍，不响的时候就把木棍伸过去敲打一番。大家笑得前仰后合，调侃着说播放器半自动化了，一路欢笑，一路前行。
    1997年底，从黄沙漫漫的青海油泉子地区干完重力点放样测量回到西安没几天，我跟随中队到了椰影婆娑的海南岛万宁市从事进行水准测量，听说是我国与澳大利亚的一个合作项目。平整的海滩上、茂密的树林里、秀丽的村舍旁都留下了队员们辛劳的身影。1998的元旦来临了，恰逢单位领导到测区慰问，晚上请大家吃饭。餐厅里可以唱卡拉OK，开始有几位当地人点唱了几首粤语歌曲，情呀爱呀得很没劲。在大伙儿的鼓动下，我们的司机师傅点播了一首《热情的沙漠》。乐曲一起，他刚唱了第一句：“我的热情”，我们一帮年轻小伙子们就齐刷刷地应一声“奥”，他再唱一句：“好像一把火”，大家伙儿又大声应一声“奥”，下一句“燃烧了整个的沙漠”，大家“奥奥奥奥”地齐声应和，一起将这首歌演绎得热烈喜悦，同时也将现场气氛推向了高潮，全餐厅的人都兴致盎然地看着我们。一曲唱罢，掌声一片。接着大家又唱了《黄土高坡》、《我是一匹来自北方的狼》等几首歌，带来一股强劲的西北风，展示了西北人的豪爽。事隔多年，每每回想起那情景都让人觉得激情满怀。
    千禧年来了，我们有幸作为跨世纪的一代人迈入了新时代。《爱不后悔》、《天亮了》、《爱在2000》、《深呼吸》、《一生有你》等一大批流行歌曲也伴随着队员们匆忙的脚步回响在大江南北，城市乡村。
    2004年当神州无处不刀郎，华夏无处不飘雪的时候，我们正好在新疆进行国家基础测绘任务———新疆伊犁、库尔勒地区1：5万正射影像外业控制测量。那一年，作业车辆已经换成了猎豹和速跑，已经可以播放CD了，音质更加纯净，再也不用人工干预了。在四个多月的时间里，大家奋战在天山南北，沐雨栉风，一直过着高度紧张，高度流动的日子，个中辛劳只有当事人才能深切地体会到。多谢刀郎，正因为有了他的歌声才让漫漫征途不再寂寞。刀郎的歌曲或大气磅礴，或荡气回肠，或清新脱俗，或深情款款，伴随着大家攀雪山、战沙漠、涉沼泽、越戈壁。在歌声的陪伴下，我们见识了伊犁河谷的丰饶，欣赏了巴音布鲁克草原的肥美和天鹅湖的神秘，体验了塔克拉玛干沙漠的炎热，感悟了胡杨千年不倒的悲怆。已记不清有多少个夜里，车外万籁俱寂，只有多情刀郎的歌陪伴着我们奔驰在广袤的大地上，驱走身体上的疲劳，抚慰心灵上的孤寂。《2002年的第一场雪》、《阿瓦尔古丽》、《新疆好》、《冲动的惩罚》……，刀郎的歌成为大家对那个测区最深的印记。
    “我看见一座座山，一座座山川，一座座山川相连，……，呀拉索，那就是青藏高原。”才旦卓玛的一曲《青藏高原》勾起多少人对那片神奇雪域的向往。2006年，我有幸参加了中国尼泊尔边界第三次联检测绘工作，踏上了神往已久的神秘之地。一百多个难忘的日日夜夜，全体联检成员工作生活在喜马拉雅山脉的群山里，爬冰卧雪、风餐露宿、精诚协作、以高度的责任感和使命感，完成了1400多公里边界线和100颗界桩的联检工作。那片高亢、亘古、苍茫、多姿多彩的雪域高原，留下了联检成员太多太多的记忆。那年7月1日，在边界上我国境内一个叫宁村的偏远的藏族村子里的土房子里，受益于国家实施的广播电视村村通工程，我们得以观看了举世瞩目的青藏铁路的通车仪式，一曲《天路》由此在连绵起伏的雪峰峻岭间广为传唱：“一条条巨龙翻山越岭，为雪域高原送来安康。那是一条神奇的天路，带我们走进人间天堂……”。
    2006年下半年以三江源测区为试点，国家总投资16.5亿、将耗时5年、覆盖面积达200万平方公里的西部1：5万比例尺空白区测图工程吹响了号角，这项新中国成立以来实施的重大测绘工程在广袤的西部拉开了序幕。3年来，广大测绘干部职工大力发扬“爱祖国，爱事业，艰苦奋斗，无私奉献”的测绘精神，攻坚克难，奋力拼搏，谱写出一曲曲豪迈激昂、可歌可泣的壮歌。在雪域高原上，陪伴队员们的除了呼啸的寒风、肆虐的大雪、怵目的闪电和自由自在的生灵，还有那一首首天籁之音：《天路》、《坐着火车去拉萨》、《卓玛》、《月光下的布达拉》、《吉祥三宝》……，高亢嘹亮、悠扬婉转、百转千回，透露着高原人的坚毅和乐观、感恩和虔诚，时常让人感动得想要落泪。“天上的西藏哦，阿妈的胸膛，养育生命的地方。天上的西藏哦，神奇的地方，通向圣洁的天堂。”这时，车载MP3已经得到广泛应用，这个小小的音乐匣子成为队员们野外生活的亲密伙伴。
    年华似水匆匆过，岁月如歌浅浅吟。苦也罢，乐也罢，悠扬也罢，哀怨也罢，都已随风飘去。每个人只有用心走好人生的每一步，弹奏好每一个阶段的乐章，才能无愧于短暂的人生，无愧于伟大的时代。
