8月6日，国家测绘局重庆测绘院通过了重庆市规划局精神文明建设考评领导小组的检查验收，荣获局级文明单位称号。

　　重庆测绘院成立以来，以“树立科学发展理念，加强队伍能力建设”为主题，以“爱祖国、爱事业、艰苦奋斗、无私奉献”为核心，以“一个弘扬，二个提高，三个抓住，四个保障”为抓手，以“2创4增强”为载体，通过专题报告、主题党课、警示教育、爱国主义教育、社会公德教育、职业道德教育等多种方式不断加强干部职工的共产主义理想信念，增强了干部职工的责任感、使命感和荣誉感，有效地推动了学习型单位的建设。通过干部进党校、干部培训班、出国考察进修、班子民主生活会、干部任前谈话，年度例行谈话、廉洁从政谈话、诫勉谈话、述职述廉、民主测平等方式加强和促进团结和谐廉洁勤政各级领导班子建设。通过聘请专家教授来院授课、举办研究生课程班、人才引进培养等计划的实施，进一步改善了队伍结构，提升了员工整体素质。通过建立职工代表议事制度、党务院务公开制度、测绘文化建设、争先创优、扶贫助困等活动，营造了科学管理、民主决策、互帮互助、团结奋进的良好工作氛围。通过认真贯彻落实《国务院关于加强测绘工作的意见》，积极参与国家西部测图、国家1:5万更新测图、全国第二次土地资源调查、汶川映秀崇州灾后测绘保障服务、畅通重庆、数字重庆建设等测绘项目不断提升测绘保障服务能力，拓宽保障服务领域。通过实施“科技兴院、科技强院”的发展战略，不断建立完善技术革新、科技创新体系和激励机制，推动和促进了院的技术进步与技术革新，有效地降低了劳动强度，提高了生产效率。通过推行质量管理目标责任制、实施成果质量一票否决制、开展产品质量专题教育等，强化了员工的质量意识，产品质量稳步提高，实现了物质文明、精神文明、政治文明建设的同步发展。
