7月14日，来自三江源头科学考察成果评审会议上的消息说，三江源头科考成果通过专家评审后，下一步将编辑出版《三江源头科学考察图集》，在三江源区域建立永久性国家地理标志。

　　据了解，近年来，国家测绘局和青海省政府之间的合作不断加强。2006年，国家测绘局和省政府签订了“加强青海省地理空间信息资源开发利用合作协议”，利用正在实施的国家西部1比5万比例尺地形图空白区测图工程的测绘成果，服务于青海省经济社会发展，也为三江源生态保护和建设提供了全方位的保障服务。国家测绘局还积极向中央财政争取边远地区、少数民族地区基础测绘专项补助经费，在青海安排国家重大测绘项目，把西宁列为数字城市建设试点城市，着力协调解决基础测绘发展和服务中的紧迫问题。

　　今后，有关部门将利用科学考察所取得的成果，进一步完善“三江源头科学考察地理信息系统”，建设“三江源地区生态环境遥感动态监测地理信息系统”，继续开展这个地区地球空间信息变迁的监测与研究，为青海省“生态立省”发展战略的实施提供地理信息保障。
