2010年是“十一五”规划的最后一年，也是 “十二五”规划奠定良好基础的关键一年。面对中部崛起的契机，湖北省测绘局积极部署2010年“数字湖北”建设工作，切实加快数字湖北建设速度。

　　一是积极向国家测绘局争取，将数字湖北纳入国家数字省区首批试点省份，充分展示湖北在数字城市建设方面所取得的成绩。认真总结和全面推广“数字潜江”、“数字鄂州”建设的经验和做法，重视培养“数字湖北”建设的领军型人才和技术骨干。

　　二是加快国家地理信息公共服务平台湖北分节点和信息基地建设，实现多级互动、协同服务。加快建设武汉城市圈“两型社会”综合配套改革试验区地理信息公共服务平台，确保三峡库区综合信息空间集成平台建设通过验收，确保湖北省连续运行卫星定位服务系统完成建设并投入使用。

Accelerate the construction of Wuhan city circle "two-oriented society," comprehensive reform pilot area of geographic information of public service platform, to ensure that the Three Gorges reservoir area integration platform for building an integrated information space through the inspection, to ensure continuous operation in Hubei satellite positioning service system to complete the building and put into use.
