按照国家测绘局统一部署和江西省测绘局《关于开展2009年测绘资质年度注册工作的通知》要求，经省、市测绘行政主管部门共同努力，全省按期完成2009年测绘资质年度注册工作。本年度测绘资质年度注册工作呈现以下特点：一是推进电子政务，年度注册全面实行网上申报、受理、审核；二是强化审核内容，将仪器设备检定或校准、测绘项目备案、测绘成果汇交等制度的执行情况纳入主要核查内容范畴。全省应参加年度注册单位312家。经审查，287家通过年度注册，16家不予注册，对9家单位做出注销《测绘资质证书》的决定，有关年度注册的结果已在江西省测绘局网站进行了公告。
