为进一步加强基础测绘工作，青海省财政投资近千万元，通过政府采购购置GPS接收机、全站仪、数字摄影测量工作站、影像扫描仪及相关软件等测绘仪器设备。目前，这些测绘仪器设备已全部安装到省测绘局，使该局设备装备水平有了较大提升。
