林念修对近年来广西测绘事业的快速发展和取得的成绩给予充分肯定，对自治区测绘局积极为区党委、政府和有关部门提供及时有力的测绘保障表示感谢。他说，区党委、政府对测绘工作的部署和要求在测绘局得到了全面贯彻落实，测绘公共服务成效明显，为广西北部湾经济区开放开发、国土资源大调查、新农村建设、数字城市建设、全区矿业权实地核查和集体林权制度改革、自治区重大项目建设等提供了强有力的测绘保障服务。自治区测绘服务总值持续增长，达到1.77亿元，重大测绘工程建设进展顺利，地理信息市场专项整治工作取得初步成果，在测绘科技创新、人才队伍建设和测绘宣传等方面取得了一定成效。当前，广西发展的任务非常艰巨，测绘在广西经济社会发展中还有很多事情要做。希望自治区测绘局广大干部职工继续发扬热爱祖国、忠诚事业、艰苦奋斗、无私奉献的测绘精神，认真做好“十二五”测绘事业发展规划，抓紧重大测绘工程实施，推动测绘事业快速发展；积极推进数字广西建设，为广西信息化发展做出贡献；积极主动服务大局，为经济平稳较快发展提供测绘支撑和保障；进一步规范测绘市场，推进测绘科技进步，加强地理信息资源建设，为广西经济建设和社会发展再立新功。

　　林念修还视察了南宁连续运行卫星定位服务系统，先后到广西测绘档案资料馆、广西地图院、广西航空遥感测绘院、广西第一测绘院、广西基础地理信息中心等单位检查指导。自治区政府副秘书长檀庆瑞陪同参加视察慰问活动。
