李维森代表国家测绘局向重庆测绘院干部职工表示诚挚问候，对该院2009年取得的成绩表示祝贺。他说，当前，党中央、国务院高度重视测绘工作。今年全国测绘局长会议开幕前夕，李克强副总理对进一步做好测绘工作作出了重要批示，为测绘事业发展指明了方向。他希望重庆测绘院结合自身实际，增强危机感和紧迫感，抓住机遇，谋划好下一步发展，在基础测绘、科技进步、保障服务、管理能力等方面做出新成绩。

　　李维森对该院2010年工作提出六点要求：一要进一步解放思想，勇于创新。探索出一条符合实际的可持续发展道路，提高测绘保障服务和应急测绘能力。二要找准自身定位，明确发展目标。作为国家基础测绘队伍，要努力完成好国家测绘局部署的各项任务，发挥好野战军的作用。三要围绕重庆市经济社会发展对基础地理信息数据的需求，为重庆市经济社会发展提供测绘保障服务。要进一步加强与重庆市及各有关部门的合作与沟通，争取更多的支持和协助。四要积极开拓市场，在巩固原有市场和客户的同时开拓新市场。把握机遇，主动出击，努力扩大测绘保障服务范围。五要高度重视产品质量，树立质量创优意识。进一步加强国家基础测绘项目的质量管理，满足国家各类测绘标准和规范要求。五要提升高新技术在测绘生产实践中的应用。在科技创新过程中，找准目标，形成重庆测绘院发展特色。六要在现有基础上，了解国家“十二五”总体规划和国家测绘局 “十二五”基础测绘规划，尽早谋划，做好和有关规划的衔接工作。
