　　2009年，吉林省长吉图开发开放先导区建设上升为国家级战略，吉林省测绘局围绕这一战略部署，积极与省发改委沟通收集相关资料，编制了《长吉图开发开放先导区专用地图》。该图采用四个A4幅面连接并双侧内折的新颖形式，地图内容反映了长吉图开发开放先导区的战略定位、地理区位、区域范围、空间布局、口岸分布和区域地势等信息。

　　该局长期坚持为历年“两会”提供地图服务，紧紧围绕本省中长期规划和年度重点工作计划，在地图选题、内容表示和开本设计上斟酌和推敲，着重反映吉林省经济社会发展的热点信息和重大工程项目规划，编制出代表和委员感兴趣的专题地图，使地理信息在代表和委员们参政议政工作中发挥概览、定位、参考的作用。
