1月29日，湖北省测绘局召开离退休老同志迎新春座谈会。局长张建仁等领导向与会老同志赠送了新近出的《武汉城市圈地图集》。

　　座谈会上，大家欢聚一堂、共贺新春。张建仁向与会老同志致以新春的良好祝愿, 并通报2009年全省测绘工作情况。2009年，湖北省测绘局全年完成测绘服务总值1亿多元，同比增长24.9%，各项工作取得了丰硕的成果：在全省范围内进行了测量标志的普查和维护，此举走在全国测绘行业前列；实现测绘资质的在线办理、在线申报，是全国第一个实现网上办理测绘资质的省份；“数字湖北”建设取得突破性进展，全省连续运行卫星定位服务系统已开始站点建设工程；湖北省电子动态地图网已开通运行……张建仁指出，这些成绩的取得，离不开全体离退休老同志的关心和大力支持。许多老同志发挥经验丰富、人缘广等优势，积极建言献策，为测绘事业的发展牵线搭桥。2010年是测绘“十一五”规划的最后一年，也是编制“十二五”规划进入关键阶段的一年，希望各位老同志人退心不退，继续发挥余热，一如既往地关心支持测绘工作，共同破解发展难题，推进测绘事业持续快速发展。与会老同志表示,一定尽心尽力关心支持湖北测绘事业发展。

Chien-Jen Chang pointed out that these achievements are inseparable from the concern of all retired veteran comrades, and support.
