2009年，石家庄市国土资源局深入贯彻落实《国务院关于加强测绘工作的意见》和《河北省人民政府关于加强测绘工作的实施意见》，坚持科学发展观，紧密结合地方经济社会发展实际和人民群众对测绘的需求，积极推进基础测绘工作，为当地经济社会发展提供了及时、可靠的测绘保障服务。

　　积极推进“数字石家庄”建设。该市国土资源局根据市政府领导批示精神，积极推进“数字石家庄”建设工作，向省测绘局等相关部门征求建议和帮助，组织有关人员赴重庆学习考察，提出了建设“数字石家庄”地理空间框架项目的初步设想，并向市政府上报专项请示。经国家测绘局批准，石家庄市列为国家测绘局2010年“数字城市”地理空间框架建设试点城市，该项目预计2年完成。

　　启动了石家庄市2000国家大地坐标系统及数据整合项目。印发了《石家庄市人民政府关于成立石家庄市2000国家大地坐标系及数据整合领导小组的通知》，成立了由市委常委、副市长任组长的石家庄市2000国家大地坐标系及数据整合领导小组，邀请省内专家专门组成专家委员会。该项目内容包括：一是在石家庄1.5万平方公里范围内将原有的测绘成果转换为2000国家大地坐标系成果；二是在市区的3000平方公里范围内建立统一的石家庄城市坐标系统，并转换、整合原有的测绘数据；三是整合、改造、扩测石家庄市区基本高程控制网；四是精化石家庄市区似大地水准面；五是建立石家庄市GPS综合服务系统。

　　实施了“石家庄市基础地理信息数据库更新改造项目”和“石家庄市滨河新区1：1000数码航测成图”项目。为配合省会“三年大变样”，市国土资源局组织开展了滨河新区1：1000比例尺数码航测成图工程，经过外业调绘和内业加工，该项目将于2010年1月底完成，可为滨河新区开发建设提供及时的测绘保障。编制了新版石家庄地图，赠送市委、市政府及相关部门。与此同时，基础地理信息数据库更新改造项目通过了专家验收。

　　积极做好测绘服务工作。为市公安局警用地理信息平台提供全市基础地形数据，并做好数据转换工作；为市地名办建设地名数据库提供基础地形数据；为滹沱河整治和市三环路改造等项目提供测绘服务。受到了有关部门的好评，该局被评为2009年度市级测绘管理先进单位。
