根据党中央、国务院《关于推进社会主义新农村建设的若干意见》和国家测绘局的要求，广西壮族自治区测绘局以柳城县新农村建设测绘保障服务工作为示范，采取有力措施，保障新农村建设工作扎实开展。

　　一是自治区测绘局、柳州市国土资源局和柳城县国土资源局领导的高度重视，各部门积极行动，认识到位，组织健全。二是深入调研。针对各乡镇附近中心村的地理优势和示范效果，柳城县政府和当地测绘主管部门确定了14个新农村建设示范点，通过这些村的新农村建设示范，积累经验，推动全县新农村建设测绘保障全面开展。三是大胆使用测绘高科技手段。如使用GPS技术，采用广西测绘局的“广西似大地水准面”成果高程改正，使用SUPERMAP平台作为数据管理系统管理等，为项目保质保量顺利完成任务赢得了宝贵时间，又节约了成本。

　　目前，柳城县新农村建设测绘保障各项工作进展顺利，已完成30座D级GPS控制点和116座一级GPS控制点测量（控制柳城县2000多平方公里），大埔村布设二级导线18个点共3.23公里，布设图根导线25条共230个点，四等水准测量21.22km，1:500数字化地形图测量10平方公里及1:1000数字化地形图测量13平方公里，1:5000影像图制作为14.8平方公里。

　　该项目已获测绘成果经柳城县国土资源局在柳城县六耳冲、叶家屯试用，反映良好，使用方便、出图快捷、数学精度高，为实现土地的科学管理提供了基础数据和技术保障，为建立完善的土地管理制度提供科学依据。
