11月18日，以地理信息系统(GIS)为特色的中国地质大学深圳产学研基地在深圳国家大学科技园内落成。

　　基地中地大楼项目占地面积7204平方米，建筑面积36252平方米。该基地的建成，将成为地大在深圳学术交流、科技成果转化、项目自主研发、高层次人才培养和企业孵化配套服务为一体的综合性基地。即将入驻该基地的教育部地理信息系统软件及其应用工程研究中心深圳研发中心，将致力于发展我国自主品牌的地理信息系统软件，以建设我国自主技术的“数字地球”、“数字国土”和“数字城市”为发展目标。

　　又讯   以“自主创新合作共赢”为主题的“2009GIS产业发展论坛”于11月18日—19日在深圳举行。此次论坛由教育部地理信息系统软件及其应用工程研究中心主办，中国地质大学中地数码集团承办，包括国家测绘局、中国科学院遥感所、中国地质大学、中国测绘学会、深圳市高新办等领导和专家参与了产业发展讨论。

　　据介绍，我国GIS产业从上世纪90年代初期才进入起步阶段。近20年，中国GIS的应用范围不断扩大，应用模式不断升级，产业规模逐渐壮大，进入了加速发展阶段。2008年，我国地理信息产业产值总规模已超600亿元，从业人员约40万人，从业机构超过1万家。

　　GIS产业的加速升级对企业的自主创新能力，行业内的协同合作提出了更高要求。然而长期以来，国内GIS行业各自为战，力量分散，整合行业内资源，进一步推动GIS产业不断向前发展已成为业内共识。

　　论坛还为首届全国GIS技能大赛的获奖者举行了颁奖仪式。

According to reports, China's GIS industry, from the early 90s before entering the initial stage.
