　　魏县位于河北省东南部，全县有两条省界、三条市界、八条县界。过去由于种种原因，一些地方边界线不是很清晰，边界双方群众在土地耕种、水资源利用等方面，屡屡发生纠纷，牵扯了各级领导很大精力，处理时，由于无法定边界，也很难说服产生纠纷的群众，影响生产、影响生活，给社会带来许多不安定的因素。随着河北省省界和省内市县界的全面勘界的完成，有了具有法律地位的边界线，边界纠纷大大下降，就是发生纠纷，也能依法处理，促进了全县的社会稳定。
