11月12日，国家测绘局副局长王春峰在湖北省武汉市主持召开测绘规划调研会。来自湖北、江苏、江西、安徽、河南、湖南、山东、浙江8个省的测绘行政主管部门负责人介绍了本省“十一五”期间的测绘工作情况，并探讨了“十二五”测绘规划的基本思路及工作目标。

　　王春峰在听取各省情况汇报后强调，要全面总结“十一五”规划执行中的经验，分析存在的问题，做好测绘“十二五”规划编制工作。王春峰指出，制订测绘“十二五”规划要以科学发展观为指导，紧紧围绕国家大局，做好测绘保障，提供优质服务。要加强调查研究，尽快开展并完成规划重大问题研究，按时形成规划框架和文本初稿。要做好规划衔接工作。他希望各地测绘局在做好本地区规划编制工作的同时，对国家局的规划多提宝贵意见和建议，提高规划的科学水平。
