　　五年来，学会在省科协、省测绘局的领导和各专业委员会及广大会员的共同努力下，高举邓小平理论的伟大旗帜，认真贯彻“三个代表”重要思想，全面落实科学发展观，紧紧围绕海峡西岸经济建设，与时俱进、开拓创新、集中力量、把握重点，开展了一系列富有成效的工作，取得了一定成绩，为福建省测绘事业发展做出了积极的贡献。

　　一是加强学会自身建设，提升学会工作活力。学会坚持依法办会、民主办会的原则，不断完善各项制度，积极发展新会员，吸纳优秀青年科技人才。到目前为止，已有学会理事70名（其中名誉理事4名），常务理事34名。团体会员单位64个，个人会员人数达到900人。

　　二是加强测绘学术交流，推动省测绘科技发展。举办各类大型学术活动约46场次，参加学术活动的会员约4300人次。组织国内外科技学习交流活动，学习国内外先进测绘生产技术和管理经验，有效促进福建省测绘科技发展，发挥专业技术特点，推进测绘行业进步。

　　三是加强对外交流与合作，把握测绘科技发展新趋势。积极参加国际测绘学术交流，把握测绘科技发展动态。加强与港台测绘学术交流活动。积极参加中国测绘学会及各专业委员会的活动，参加华东六省一市测绘学术交流会，取长补短，共同促进测绘学术水平的提高。

　　四是努力做好科普工作，全力普及测绘科学知识。创新科普活动形式和内容，宣传和普及测绘科技知识。举办刘先林先进事迹座谈会，深入开展“学习先进，弘扬典型”的主题实践活动。

　　五是积极开展测绘科技咨询服务。充分发挥测绘科普教育基地作用，提升社会公众对测绘的认知度。积极开展各项评优工作，为测绘科技进步服务。拓宽服务载体，丰富学会服务内容。

October 29, Fujian Institute of Surveying and Mapping the Seventh Congress of held in Fuzhou. First, we should learn to self-building, learn to work to enhance vitality. Society's Office will adhere to the law, democracy and the principles of office will continuously improve the systems, and actively develop new members, to attract outstanding young scientists and technicians. So far, Institute director 70 (including four honorary member), and the directors 34. Group member 64, the number of individual members to reach 900.


Second, surveying and mapping academic exchanges, promote the province of surveying and mapping technology. Organizing various academic activities of about 46 large-scale screenings, participate in academic activities, a membership of some 4,300 passengers. Technology for Learning in both domestic and foreign exchange activities, learning advanced production technology and management experience in surveying and mapping, surveying and mapping science and technology effectively promote the development of Fujian Province, to play professional and technical characteristics, to promote progress in surveying and mapping industry.


Third, strengthen exchanges and cooperation, grasp the new trends in surveying and mapping scientific and technological development. To strengthen academic exchanges with Hong Kong and Taiwan surveying and mapping activities. Surveying and Mapping Society of China actively participated in various professional activities of the Committee to participate in the six provinces and one city, East China Survey and Mapping of academic exchanges, learn from each other, and jointly promote the improvement of academic standards of surveying and mapping.


Fourth, efforts to do science work, the full universal mapping scientific knowledge. Fifth, actively carry out surveying and mapping science and technology advisory services. Give full play to the role of surveying and mapping science education base to enhance public awareness of the surveying and mapping. Broaden their service carrier, enrich society services.
