10月13日，国家测绘局副局长李维森在中国测绘创新基地听取了重庆市规划局党组书记、副局长张远林关于重庆市测绘工作情况的汇报。李维森说，近年来，在重庆市委市政府的关心重视下，重庆市测绘战线干部职工着力解放思想，积极改革创新，重庆市的测绘科研、生产、应用和服务等各方面都取得了很好的成效，在不少方面积累了好的经验，值得推广。国家测绘局对重庆市的测绘工作是满意的。国家测绘局一直高度重视重庆市的测绘工作，2008年12月，国家测绘局徐德明局长上任不久，就赴重庆与重庆市人民政府领导、湖北省人民政府领导共同签署了三峡库区综合信息空间集成平台建设合作协议，目的就是要为库区经济社会发展提供权威的决策支撑，为库区生态环境保护等提供全面的信息资源保障，同时也将有力促进重庆市、湖北省测绘事业的发展。李维森说，重庆市是最年轻、面积最大的直辖市，经济社会发展迅速，基础测绘工作的任务十分繁重，特别是重庆市正在实施的城乡统筹综合配套改革试点工作等，对测绘服务保障工作提出了很多新的需求，国家测绘局将在社会主义新农村建设测绘保障服务试点、国家现代化测绘基准建设等重大项目实施中，进一步加强对重庆市测绘工作的支持力度，希望重庆市测绘部门不断创新，为重庆市经济社会又好又快发展提供更加有力的测绘保障服务，同时也为促进全国测绘事业的发展不断积累好的经验。
