在首都各界庆祝中华人民共和国成立60周年大会上，总是闪耀着宜兴人的身影。除了中科院院士吴岳良搭上了“科技发展”彩车外，作为海外高层次人才参加国庆观礼团的摄影测量与遥感专家吴晓良同样备受瞩目。

　　今年43岁的吴晓良是我市万石人，目前任职于澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织，在国际摄影测量与遥感界享有较高的知名度。其实，他在国内时就已崭露头角，特别是1993年在武汉测绘科技大学读书期间获得的国家自然科学二等奖，是当时该校在历史上科技领域的获得的最高奖项。他作为核心人员参与所开发的全数字化自动测图系统，更是将中国摄影测量与遥感之父王之卓先生的理想变成了现实，并凭借高精准度与低廉价格，一举将国外高价测图系统拒之门外。

　　科学无国界。为更好掌握与完善摄影测量与遥感技术，吴晓良赴澳大利亚深造，并就职于澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织（相当于中国科学院）。在澳工作期间，他作为主要科研人员参与了利用遥感技术测量二氧化碳排放量这一攻关项目，并因此获得2004年澳大利亚联邦科学与工业研究组织最高科学奖———主席奖章。

　　“无论身在何方，我的心依旧是中国心！”吴晓良说，虽然他现在在澳大利亚工作，但只要听到祖国召唤，他都毫不犹豫地给予技术上的支持与帮助。在武汉测绘科技大学读书期间开发的全数字化自动测图系统，他仍在义务帮学校进一步改进完善；由他参与的利用遥感技术测量二氧化碳排放量项目，已作为一项公益项目在发展中国家施用，在他的推荐下，中国也成为首批施用国之一；最近几年他一直都在积极参与中国第一颗民用立体测绘卫星的研发项目中的一个技术攻关项目,今后的大部分时间，他都将留在国内，帮助这一项目早日成功。

　　凭借着在国际航空摄影测绘界取得的成就，经国家测绘局推荐，吴晓良与众多海外高层次人才和留学回国人员一起，受到国家领导人的亲切接见，并且在天安门广场出席了观礼活动。“我感到很荣幸、很振奋！现在，国家很重视人才，我们这些海外学子应该更努力地工作，报效正在实现伟大复兴的祖国！”对家乡宜兴在经济社会发展方面取得的成就，吴晓良也是赞不绝口。他风趣地说：“我不用航拍摄影技术，仅凭眼睛就可见证宜兴的浓浓绿意在不断涌现。”

Science without borders. In order to better grasp and improvement of Photogrammetry and Remote Sensing Technology, Wu Xiaoliang studies to Australia and worked at the Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization (the equivalent of Chinese Academy of Sciences). In Australia, he worked as the principal researchers involved in the use of remote sensing techniques to measure carbon dioxide emissions from this research project, and therefore won the 2004 Australian Commonwealth Scientific and Industrial Research Organization's highest scientific award --- the President Medal.

"Whether right where my heart is still a Chinese heart!" Wu Xiaoliang said that although he is now in Australia, but whenever they hear the call of the motherland, he did not hesitate to give technical support and help. Surveying and Mapping in Wuhan University of Technology, studying the development of all-digital during the automatic mapping system, he is still the obligation to help schools to improve and perfect; from his involvement in the use of remote sensing techniques to measure carbon dioxide emissions from the project, has served as a public welfare projects in developing countries, application of , in his recommendation, China has also become one of the first application; in recent years, he has been actively participating in China's first one-dimensional mapping satellites for civilian R & D projects in a technical research project, the future most of the time, he will remain in the country to help the success of this project as soon as possible.

With aerial photography, surveying and mapping industry in the international achievements, recommended by the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping, Wu Xiaoliang with many high-level overseas personnel and returned overseas students, together with state leaders were cordially received, and attended the ceremony in Tiananmen Square events. "I feel very honored, very excited! Now, the state attaches great importance to talent, we should be more of these overseas students to work hard and serve the country are realizing the great rejuvenation!" To his hometown of Yixing in economic and social development achievements also Zan Wu Xiaoliang do not stop talking.
