　　局长冯先光在大会上作报告。他回顾了新中国成立60年来的巨大变化和测绘事业的发展，总结了四川测绘事业所取得成就的经验：是坚持以马列主义、毛泽东思想、邓小平理论和“三个代表”重要思想为指导的结果，是国家测绘局和省委、省政府正确领导的结果，是历届班子带领全局广大干部职工团结奋斗、努力拼搏的结果，是四川测绘人在几十年发展的奋斗历程中，抓住机遇、不断进取的结果。

　　冯先光就如何进一步做好今后的测绘工作，提出五个方面的意见：一是要深入贯彻落实科学发展观。二是要必须坚持改革开放。三是要认清四川测绘工作形势。四是要继续做好测绘保障服务。他号召全局干部职工要坚定不移地高举中国特色社会主义伟大旗帜，求真务实，锐意进取，继续解放思想，坚持改革开放，推动科学发展，促进四川测绘事业再上新台阶。

　　大会结束后，举行了歌咏大会。局机关和各单位的测绘干部职工以及老干部们，纷纷登台，引吭高歌，翩翩起舞，表达了测绘儿女对祖国母亲的无限深情和诚挚祝福，对祖国未来的美好憧憬，对测绘发展前景的热切希望。
