李维森充分肯定了实验室一年来取得的成绩，并对今后的工作提出希望。李维森表示，国家测绘局将一如既往地支持实验室的发展，进一步推进落实国家重点实验室的申报工作。

　　会议听取了林宗坚研究员所作的实验室2008年度工作报告，与会领导和专家对工作报告进行了咨询和审议，肯定了实验室2008年取得的成绩，并对推动实验室向国家重点实验室方向发展提出许多宝贵意见和建议。学术委员会对2009年度实验室开放基金课题申请进行了评审。

　　科技部、国家测绘局、国家遥感中心、中国测绘学会、武汉大学、解放军信息工程大学、中国科学院测量与地球物理研究所、中国科学院遥感应用研究所、中国科学院南京湖泊与地理研究所、国家基础地理信息中心、香港理工大学、荷兰国际对地观测与地理信息科学学院（ITC）、奥地利维也纳大学（Vienna University）、澳大利亚联邦工业与研究组织（CSIRO）和中国测绘科学研究院等22位领导和专家出席会议。

September 15, geo-spatial Information Engineering Laboratory of the State Bureau of Surveying and Mapping held in Beijing in the second session of the Academic Committee at its second meeting. Li Weisen, Deputy Secretary for national mapping attended the meeting and delivered speeches.

Li Weisen fully affirmed the achievements of laboratories over the past year, and expressed the hope that future work. Li Weisen, said the National Mapping Bureau will continue to support the development of laboratories to further advance the implementation of national key laboratories reporting.
