　　9月17日，黑龙江测绘局局长王宝民、副局长苗前军会见澳大利亚新南威尔士州（New South Wales）土地管理局项目官员Tony Hope、查尔斯特大学（Charles Sturt University）Errol Chopping教授和IEEE NSW主席David Tien，就开展地理信息数据服务外包、软件开发外包和人才培养等方面的合作进行深入探讨。

　　这是继今年1月份查尔斯特大学访问黑龙江测绘局后的再次来访，也是对上次访问探讨的合作意向的进一步落实，此次他们将新南威尔士州土地管理局项目官员Tony Hope介绍到黑龙江测绘局。新南威尔士州土地管理局是新南威尔士州测绘和土地资源的管理部门，业务范围包括新南威尔士州地籍管理、土地交易、基础地理信息数据采集和数据库建设维护及提供、土地管理和空间基础数据门户网站的建设等。作为土地管理局项目官员，Tony Hope表示希望与该局开展一些前期实验性服务外包项目。Errol Chopping教授也表示查尔斯特大学愿意派出地理信息和计算机方面的专家和教授到该局开展培训工作。

　　期间，澳大利亚客人参观了黑龙江测绘局数字化测绘生产基地，对该局地理信息生产能力和技术水平给予高度评价。

New South Wales Bureau of Land Management is a New South Wales, mapping and land resources management, business scope, including New South Wales cadastral management, land transactions, basic geographic information data collection and database construction and the provision of maintenance, land management and space-based the construction of the data portal. As a Bureau of Land Management Project Officer, Tony Hope expressed the hope that some preliminary experiments carried out with the Bureau of service outsourcing project. Errol Chopping, said Professor Charles Sturt University is willing to send geographical information and computer experts and professors of the Authority to carry out training.


During the Australian guests to visit the Heilongjiang Bureau of Surveying and Mapping Digital Mapping production bases, production capacity and geographic information on the council spoke highly of the level of technology.
