9月20日，云南省测绘局西部测图工程前线指挥部召开首次监理协调会。会议由陕西质检站监理代表主持，局领导小组成员、前线指挥部成员、局质检人员、工程院管理人员参加会议。

　　会上，测区负责人汇报了生产计划执行、测区工作进展、质量控制、安全措施等情况，并提出了存在的问题、解决办法，以及下一步的工作思路。局领导小组成员倪津做了总结发言，并对测区工作提出了具体要求。

　　监理代表就前期云南省测绘局提交的生产准备材料情况做了说明，并明确提出了监理要求、监理内容、以及下一步的监理安排，通过征求与会者意见，形成了监理协调记录。

　　会议要求，要保证项目生产的有序性和可控性，使成果质量达到西部测图工程的总体质量要求。横断山脉地形复杂，交通条件较差，作业区域内自然灾害频发，要做好外业生产所需交通、通讯、急救、后勤工作，确保人身安全、交通安全、数据资料安全，全面落实西部测图“安全工程” 各项目标要求，确保西部测图“安全生产年”不发生安全事故。
