9月8日的北京，风清气爽，天高云淡。中国测绘创新基地所在的北京市海淀区莲花池西路28号院内，彩旗招展，气球飘飘。参加进驻仪式的有国家测绘局机关和机关服务中心全体人员、进驻单位领导班子成员，参加基地建设的辽宁省测绘局、黑龙江测绘局、陕西测绘局、深圳市美术装饰工程有限公司、北京正安保安工程公司、湖南六建机电安装有限公司、北京东华合创科技有限公司、北京新恒元工程监理咨询有限公司、北京市富美达建筑装饰工程公司、北京信达电通科技发展有限公司、昆明万博展示设计有限公司等有关单位的代表共200多人。大家一早就齐聚在基地大楼前，到处是欢声笑语，一派喜气洋洋的景象。
