南宁市林业局投入381万元，建立了广西第一个森林防火地理信息系统，实现了林火管理信息化。

　　“鼠标一点，可以看到百公里外树上的虫子，如有林火，更是难逃‘法眼’。火灾现场及周围的地理环境在现代信息技术的支撑下尽收眼底。”南宁市林业局投入381万元，建立了广西第一个森林防火地理信息系统，实现了林火管理信息化。该项技术在国内属领先水平，投入使用至今查清和反馈卫星热点3200多次，发现林火125次。与之相配套的GIS野外林火视频监控系统，组成了我国一流的南宁市森林防火指挥系统。

　　据悉，南宁市林业局计划再投入100万元，在该系统上进一步建立森林防火队员无线对讲机定位系统。扑火队员携带的对讲机可以传回数据信号，以便指挥部了解扑火队员的动态，在地理信息系统、野外林火视频监控系统的共同支持下，既能确保扑火队员的生命安全，也能确定最佳扑火路线。
