湖北省测绘局,为进一步加强测绘法制宣传，普及测绘法律知识，提高全社会对测绘工作的认识，促进《基础测绘条例》的贯彻实施，根据《国家测绘局关于开展8?29测绘法宣传日活动的通知》精神，紧紧围绕“加强基础测绘工作，发展地理信息产业”的宣传主题，积极部署测绘法宣传日活动，采取有力措施推动宣传日活动的扎实开展。

　　一是下发《湖北省测绘局关于组织开展2009年测绘法宣传日活动的通知》，明确本次宣传日的宣传主题和内容以及具体安排，要求各市、州、直管市、神农架林区测绘行政主管部门及有关测绘单位高度重视，认真抓好落实；二是印制宣传画和湖北省地图，在宣传日当天发放。三是要求局属各单位制作宣传展板和影像资料，展示本单位为湖北省基础测绘工作做出的贡献，体现基础测绘工作在国民经济建设和群众生活中的保障服务作用。四是在省测绘局一楼大厅电子显示屏上滚动播出宣传口号，在局大门口悬挂宣传横幅、大厅内摆设宣传展板，加大向全局干部职工和来局办事人员的宣传力度；五是在局网站首页设立测绘法宣传日专栏，跟踪报道相关活动、六是联系有关新闻媒体进行宣传报道，扩大影响、七是8月29日，将利用通信网络向万余公众发送测绘法宣传日公益短信，在湖北省博物馆门口布设主会场，在各地市区的公园、广场或繁华地段设置宣传点，通过悬挂横幅、张贴宣传画、摆设宣传板、散发宣传材料、提供咨询等形式推动测绘法宣传日活动的广泛开展。
