2009年8月6日至7日，首届全国测绘行业职业技能竞赛吉林省选拔赛在吉林省测绘行业职业技能鉴定站举行。经选拔吉林省水利水电勘测设计研究院测绘院、吉林省第一测绘院将代表吉林省参加国家测绘局举办的首届全国测绘行业职业技能竞赛。

        本次选拔赛得到了吉林省测绘局领导的高度重视，局成立了以张立民局长为主任，郭燕副局长为副主任的选拔赛组委会，并聘请了相关专业的专家作为选拔赛评委。郭燕副局长到赛场对比赛过程进行监督，并要求评委严格按照国家职业技能竞赛技术标准和实操评分细则进行评判，确保选拔赛公平、公正。

        本次选拔赛共有6个单位选派的20余名选手参加。参赛选手怀着强烈的事业心与责任感和不负重托、力争最好的坚定信念，展示出了他们最好的技能水平和良好的精神风貌。各参赛单位对本次选拔赛十分重视，辽源市勘测设计院专门为本次比赛购置了两台全新的笔记本电脑，为参赛选手提供了良好的硬件支持。吉林省水利水电勘测设计研究院测绘院领导亲自为选手拉测绳，为选手助威鼓劲。充分体现了测绘工作者团结协作，顽强拼搏，争创佳绩的优良作风。

        这次选拔赛为我省测绘工作者提供了一个充分展示技术水平和操作能力的竞技舞台，为推动我省测绘技术进步和创新，提高测绘技术人员整体素质起到了积极的作用。
