日前，市殡葬管理处在全省率先开展了对公墓的GPS卫星定位测绘工作。

    从1989年至今，我市经省民政厅、市、县人民政府同意，先后审批成立了12家公墓。其中经营性公墓10家，公益性公墓2家。这些公墓的建立，有力地推动了全市的殡葬改革工作，对净化城市环境、制止乱买滥葬、保护林地和土地资源起到了促进作用。

    近期，市殡葬管理处在对各公墓进行检查时发现，个别公墓违反国家相关政策法规，存在擅自超审批面积占用土地林地和土地以租代征等问题，扰乱了殡葬市场的正常经营秩序。为从源头解决这一问题，加强全市公墓管理，规范经营行为，严格按审批面积控制公墓建设规模，市殡葬管理处聘请市规划勘测设计院专业人员，用20天时间对全市12家公墓进行了GPS卫星定位测绘，划定边界，确定面积。根据测绘情况，殡葬管理部门能够随时监控各公墓的占地情况，调取数据方便快捷，再进行规划建设时无需重复测绘。

    市殡葬管理处根据测绘数据对全市公墓进行了详细调查，发现有2家公墓超面积占地，已责令其限期整改。市殡葬管理处还将联合国土、林业等相关职能部门对存在问题公墓的整改情况进行检查。
