8月4日，湖北省测绘局局长张建仁到长阳土家族自治县何家坪村调研新农村建设情况，慰问省测绘局驻村建设工作队队员，并向何家坪村赠送了2台电脑和5万元资金。

　　张建仁表示，省测绘局去年为长阳制作了行政区划图，今年将根据长阳县的地理优势、资源条件，特别是在发展长阳的旅游资源等方面，编制有长阳特色的旅游图。并在湖北省电子动态地图网中，免费为长阳县开设专栏窗口，进一步向世界展示长阳。
