近日，天津大学“中国古建筑测绘研究正定基地”揭牌，标志着国内首个古建筑测绘研究基地建成。正定古城具有2000多年历史，深厚的历史文化积淀，留下了众多的古建筑和名胜古迹，隋、唐、宋、元、明、清，各朝建筑皆有遗存。此次在正定文物的测绘过程中，测绘技术人员运用GPS定位、三维激光扫描等现代技术手段，以及常规测绘和手法，给每座古建筑从里到外进行全方位记录，包括它的地理位置、建筑手法和材料等等，为每一座文物留下详细资料。天津大学还组织开发了信息管理系统，将测绘成果收录其中，供社会各界查询，给这些古建筑文物上了一个电子“户口”。
