8月3日-4日，中国地图出版社召开第二届职工代表大会第四次全体会议，审议中国地图出版社转企改制方案。

　　根据中央关于文化体制改革的精神和新闻出版总署的统一部署，中国地图出版社在2009年底之前将转制为企业。面对这一机遇与挑战，中国地图出版社党委高度重视，积极行动，专门成立了改制工作领导小组及办公室，学习相关政策，调研、学习改制试点单位经验，向国家测绘局领导请示汇报，与新闻出版总署进行沟通，及时理清了社转企改制和发展的思路，制定了转制方案。为使转制方案及职工权益保障方案更加完善，社党委在职工代表大会召开前广泛征求职工意见，召开工会委员与职工代表组长联席会议和工会小组长会议，为职工代表大会的顺利召开奠定了基础。

　　职代会上，代表们认真履行职责，从全国出版体制改革的大局出发，准确把握社转企改制政策，提出合理化建议；从维护职工合法权益的角度出发，认真审议职工权益保障方案，提出积极设想。大会以无记名投票的方式通过了社转企改制方案。
