2009年，云南省测绘局组织开展全省测绘成果质量专项监督检查，重点对乙级测绘持证单位近3年来完成的28个项目进行抽检。其中检测检验项目10个，合格率为80%；概查项目18个，符合要求率为72.2%。检查结果表明，被检测绘单位测绘成果质量总体情况较好，大部分单位能按照有关技术标准及各测绘项目的技术设计书进行测绘，使用的仪器均经过检定或校准，采用的测量方法先进，技术设计合理，成果数学精度良好，资料完整齐全。检查中也发现了一些问题，主要是少数测绘项目没有编写技术设计书或设计书未经审批，使用的仪器未按规定进行计量检定，起算数据无溯源证明，等级不清，少数项目观测精度不符合规范要求，高程基准不符合设计要求，个别项目地形测量点达不到规范要求，地物测绘差错、漏较多等。针对抽查中发现的主要质量问题，省测绘局要求批不合格（或不符合要求）的项目生产单位按照《质量检验报告》提出的有关问题进行认真对照、分析和整改，并继续对这些单位测绘成果质量进行跟踪抽查，以提高测绘工程成果质量，为国民经济建设提供可靠、高质的测绘保障服务。

Inspection also found some problems, mainly a small number of surveying and mapping project was not designed to prepare technical design book or books without the approval of the use of the equipment failure to the provisions of metrology, calibration, initial data no traceable evidence, grade is unclear, a few projects observation accuracy comply with regulatory requirements, height datum does not meet design requirements, individual projects reach topographic survey points regulatory requirements, the feature mapping errors, and missed more and so on. For the sample found in the main quality problems, the provincial Bureau of Surveying and Mapping request granted unqualified (or non-compliant) project units in accordance with "Quality Inspection Report" raised serious issues related to the control, analysis and rectification, and continue to survey and mapping of these units tracking the results of quality checks in order to improve the quality of surveying and mapping engineering outcomes for the national economic construction to provide reliable, high-quality mapping security services.
