2月2日上午，国家测绘局召开党外人士代表新春座谈会，邀请来自农工、民盟、民建、致公党、“九三”学社的民主党派人士以及无党派高级知识分子代表欢聚一堂，共话发展。局党组书记、局长徐德明向参会的党外人士代表致以诚挚的问候和新春祝福，并通过他们向关心、支持测绘事业发展的各民主党派及无党派高级知识分子表示衷心的感谢！党组成员、纪检组长、直属机关党委书记张荣久主持会议。

　　会上，徐德明向与会代表通报了国家测绘局2009年主要工作情况和2010年主要工作思路，并围绕党外人士进一步发挥好参政议政、民主监督作用提出了希望：一是希望大家一如既往关心、重视、支持国家测绘局党组和国家测绘局的各项工作。二是希望大家进一步发挥带头作用、影响作用和示范作用，充分调动和凝聚更多党外人士的力量，共同投入到测绘事业的主战场，发挥更加积极的作用。三是希望大家在科技创新方面，充分发挥特长，带头攻坚克难，通过智慧和创新推动测绘科技尽快赶上甚至超过世界领先水平，为测绘事业发展赢得更大的空间。四是希望坚持“长期共存，互相监督，肝胆相照，荣辱与共”的方针，加强与局党组的沟通交流，特别要及时反映事关全局、事关发展的建设性意见、建议，以便局党组进一步提高领导水平和工作水平。同时，要积极做好解释和说服工作，将大家的思想统一到测绘科学事业发展的大局上来。

　　与会的党外人士对2009年测绘工作取得的重大成就给予了充分肯定和高度评价，为局党组带领广大测绘干部职工开创的良好局面感到欢欣鼓舞、信心百倍。会上，大家围绕“大测绘、大行业、大产业”的发展思路进行了探讨，并就如何深入推进地理信息产业发展、继续做好测绘卫星相关工作和进一步推动地图事业的发展提出了宝贵的意见建议。人事司和直属机关党委主要负责人及有关同志参加了会议，座谈会在掌声和欢笑声中结束。
