1月15日，四川省第三测绘工程院召开党委中心组扩大学习会议，传达学习2010年中央经济工作会议精神，研讨该院2010年及今后的发展方向。

　　会议指出，中央经济工作会议是在全党全国认真贯彻落实党的十七届四中全会精神、应对国际金融危机冲击取得明显成效、经济回升向好，但国内外经济环境仍然十分复杂的背景下召开的一次重要会议。会议科学判断了当前国际国内经济形势，深刻阐述了加快经济发展方式转变的重要性和紧迫性，明确提出了明年经济工作的总体要求、重要原则和主要任务。

　　会议认为，全院应当牢牢把握中央提出的“五个更加注重”的新要求，抓住灾后重建、扩大内需和西部全面开发开放的重大机遇，围绕四川省委“两个加快”、把握“巩固回升、加快发展”的工作基调，积极适应信息化测绘新形势，加快测绘生产方式转变，提高管理水平，优化队伍结构，加强自身科技应用和创新能力，坚持基础测绘是“事业之基、立院之本”的定位，不断提高为国民经济建设提供测绘服务的能力，提高应急保障服务能力，推动四川汶川地震灾后重建测绘专项工程等国家重大基础测绘项目的顺利实施。
