　　该项目是继海南省地名短讯服务平台、海南省市县地名数据库管理信息系统建成后，海南基础地理信息中心再次受海南省民政厅委托开发建设的公共服务工程系列项目之一，建设历时一年多。该系统分为“走进海南、城市概况、地名查询、风景名胜、公众服务、电子地图”六大板块，是通过整合地理信息系统、地名数据库、网络通信、多媒体等先进技术，综合利用文字、图像、视频等多种信息表现形式，为社会公众提供地名信息、电子地图、交通、餐饮、宾馆等公用信息的公共服务工程，不仅是海南省建设国际旅游岛的重要内容之一，更是提高海南省国际旅游岛形象和品位的窗口。

The project is the second short message service platform for geographical names, Hainan Province, Hainan Province, city and county names database management information system is completed, the Hainan-based Geographic Information Center, once again by the Hainan Provincial Department of Civil Affairs commissioned the development and construction of one of series of public service works, construction took a over a year. The system is divided into "into the Hainan, city profiles, place names query, scenic spots, public service, e-map" six plates, through the integration of geographic information systems, Geographical Names Database, network communications, multimedia and other advanced technology, combining text, images, video and other forms of information, providing the public with names information, electronic maps, transportation, catering, hotels and other public information, public service projects, not only the building of an international tourist island of Hainan Province, an important part, but also to improve International Tourism in Hainan Island, the window image and taste.
