近期，山东省蓬莱市测绘院主动以科学发展观思想统领测绘工作，坚持服务大局、服务社会、服务民生的宗旨，积极提供测绘服务，促进本市经济平稳增长。

　　该院开展了“关于提高新时期测绘保障能力的主题调研”活动和解放思想大讨论活动，着重找好该院的发展定位，树立埋头苦干、为民服务、提速增效的发展意识和服务意识，充分发挥资源优势、技术优势和人才优势，及时为政府保增长、扩内需、调结构的决策部署服务，为该市重点工程、民生工程提供优质的地理信息数据和先进的测绘技术支撑。今年以来，该院先后完成社会服务项目80多项，项目涉及大型船舶制造、石油化工、市民安居工程、市政道路建设、工业和居民供热、葡萄种植标准化、蘑菇等真菌养殖、水果保鲜储藏、乡镇农贸市场建设等众多领域。其中，为山东民和牧业股份有限公司养殖基地扩建项目测绘1：500比例尺地形图1.067平方千米，为罗斯柴尔德酒庄测绘1：500比例尺地形图0.67平方千米，为华润电力蓬莱有限公司测绘1：500比例尺地形图0.067平方千米和5.8千米长的道路带状地形图，充分满足了企业发展的测绘需求。同时，结合新农村建设，大力支持镇政府驻地和烟台市级新农村建设试点村庄的总体规划和控制性详细规划的编制任务，提供影像图、1：1万和1：1000比例尺地形图累计达10平方千米。该院还与山东海天地理信息有限公司合作，完成市域1980西安坐标系和1985国家高程基准的布设工作。
