近段时间，长江进入枯水期，湖南省岳阳市航道管理处管辖的尺八口水道航道吃紧，影响水运畅通及安全。近日，监利航道管理处测绘人员被紧急派往岳阳市城陵矶，支援岳阳市航道管理处的航道维护工作。

此接到任务后，监利支援小分队马不停蹄，带上测量设备，乘快艇赶到岳阳市航道管理处，当天就开展工作。在两天的时间里，监利测绘人员克服困难，夜以继日，完成了荆河脑至#30过河标1：5000扩大图、#32—2沿岸
