10月14日，湖北省测绘局在黄石召开全省基础测绘工作座谈会。

　　会议肯定了各地基础测绘工作取得的成绩，并对全省基础测绘工作提出要求：一要进一步提高认识，充分认识基础测绘工作的重要性和紧迫性。测绘是各项工作的基础，基础测绘是测绘的基础，是政府主导，应优先发展的公益性事业。《基础测绘条例》的颁布实施，体现了党和国家对基础测绘工作的高度重视，是加强基础测绘工作的重大举措。二要抓住贯彻落实《基础测绘条例》的契机，认真学习条例，做好条例的宣传工作，狠抓贯彻落实，不断将湖北省基础测绘工作推向深入。三要全力做好今年各项基础测绘工作。

　　会议通报了省级基础测绘工作的进展情况，并就数字城市建设、新农村建设测绘保障服务、加大市县基础测绘投入等方面提出具体要求。

　　会议期间，各市州测绘行政主管部门就本地区基础测绘工作开展情况、取得的经验及存在的主要问题进行了交流，并对进一步改进基础测绘工作提出了具体意见和建议。

During the meeting, municipal administrative departments of surveying and mapping states on the situation in the region to carry out basic surveying and mapping work, lessons learned and the main problem was communication, and to further improve the basic surveying and mapping work of the specific comments and suggestions.
