2009年10月15日，测绘文化与和谐单位建设研讨交流会在京召开。国家测绘局党组书记、局长徐德明出席会议并作重要讲话。他强调指出，各单位各部门要提高认识，统一思想，深刻理解加强测绘文化建设的重大意义，坚持实践，突出特色，不断开创测绘文化建设新局面。国家测绘局党组副书记、副局长王春峰，党组成员、副局长、李维森、宋超智，党组成员、办公室主任吴兆琪，国家测绘局总工程师胥燕婴出席会议。党组成员、纪检组组长张荣久主持会议。

　　召开这次会议的主要任务是总结和交流测绘系统测绘文化与和谐单位建设的有关情况，宣传推广以文化建设促和谐、促发展的典型经验，深入开展测绘文化建设专题研讨，就进一步贯彻落实《国家测绘局关于加强测绘文化建设的意见》作出部署。

　　徐德明最后指出，中国测绘职工思想政治工作研究会第五次年会将对政研会章程进行重新修订，完成理事会的换届工作，切实加强政研会的组织机构建设，这是一件非常有意义的事情。章程修定和组织完善之后，要真正发挥它的作用，特别是在测绘文化建设中，要做智囊团、专家库、参谋部，加大调查研究的力度，多出有价值的研究成果，并积极促进研究成果的转化，使研究成果在具体工作中得以体现，发挥作用。这样，政研会才有生命力、吸引力和影响力。
