9月19日上午，山西省2009年“全国科普日”暨第六届“科普三晋”系列活动启动仪式在山西省科技馆举行。省委常委、统战部长李政文、省政协副主席卫小春、省科协主席韩裕峰等领导出席启动仪式。以“节约能源资源、保护生态环境、保障安全健康”为主题的系列科普活动拉开序幕。省级学会、协会、研究会、企业科协和省科协事业单位参加了此次科普宣传活动。山西省测绘学会作为参加单位之一，面向社会公众散发传单3000余张、地图1000多份，并提供测绘咨询，宣传测绘法律法规，宣传测绘事业的改革与发展，收到很好的效果。

　　近几年，山西省测绘学会每年都要参加“全国科普日”宣传活动，而且测绘展位一直受到公众的广泛关注。今年也是如此。尽管当天下着小雨，但测绘展位前始终人头攒动，有要宣传品的，有咨询测绘业务的，还有了解测绘相关知识的。许多人由衷地说，每年参加科普日活动，测绘展位最实在，既能领到地图，又能增长见识。

Provincial societies, associations, seminars, corporate CAST CAST and provincial institutions participated in the science campaign. Surveying and Mapping Institute of Shanxi Province as a participant in one of the units, distributing leaflets for the public more than 3,000 sheets, map of more than 1,000 copies, and provide mapping advice, advocacy surveying and mapping laws and regulations to promote the cause of reform and development of surveying and mapping, received good results.

In recent years, the Survey and Mapping Institute of Shanxi Province every year to participate in the "National Science Day" campaign, and the mapping booth has been wide public concern. The same is true of this year. Despite the light rain was pouring, but the mapping front of the booth is always peak and visitors crowd, there should be publicity materials, there are consulting surveying and mapping services, as well as understanding of surveying and mapping-related knowledge. Many people sincerely say that every year to participate in Science Day activities, mapping the best booth reality, both receive maps, but also informative.
